In these Terms and Conditions, the following expressions have the meanings set out below:

1.2 "Customer", "you" and "your" mean the person, firm, company or organisation requesting or receiving the services.
1.3 "Services" means any rubbish removal, waste collection, bulky item disposal, clearance, loading, transport and related services provided by the Company.
1.4 "Booking" means a request for Services made by the Customer and accepted by the Company.
1.5 "Waste" means any rubbish, household waste, commercial waste, construction waste or other materials to be removed by the Company, as agreed in the Booking and in accordance with applicable waste regulations.
2.1 The Company provides rubbish removal and waste collection services for domestic and commercial customers, including but not limited to household clearances, office clearances, garden waste removal, bulky item removal and general waste disposal.
2.2 The precise scope of the Services, including the type and approximate volume of Waste to be collected, the collection address, service date and any access requirements, will be agreed at the time of Booking.
2.3 The Company reserves the right to refuse collection of any items or materials that are hazardous, prohibited by law, or not accurately described at the time of Booking, including but not limited to asbestos, clinical waste, chemicals, gas bottles, explosives and certain electrical items.
2.4 The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the Service requested is suitable for the type and volume of Waste to be collected.
3.1 Bookings may be made by telephone, email or through any other communication channel made available by the Company from time to time.
3.2 When placing a Booking, the Customer must provide accurate information, including contact details, collection address, details of access and parking, a description of the Waste, and preferred collection date and time window.
3.3 The Company will confirm acceptance of the Booking verbally or in writing. A contract between the Customer and the Company is formed only when the Booking is accepted by the Company.
3.4 Any quotation provided by the Company prior to acceptance of a Booking is an estimate only and may be subject to change if the information provided by the Customer is incomplete or inaccurate, or if the actual volume, weight or nature of the Waste differs from that described at the time of Booking.
3.5 The Company may request photographs or additional information about the Waste or premises prior to confirming a Booking in order to assess access, volume, and any specific handling requirements.
4.1 The Customer must ensure that reasonable access is available to the collection address at the agreed time. This includes providing clear routes to the Waste and ensuring that any gates, doors or communal entrances are open or that the Company is provided with access details.
4.2 The Customer is responsible for arranging suitable parking or loading space for the Company’s vehicle as close as possible to the collection point. Any requirements for parking permits, visitor passes or access codes must be communicated in advance.
4.3 If suitable access or parking is not available at the agreed time, the Company may, at its discretion, charge a waiting time fee, an additional attendance fee, or cancel the Booking and charge a failed attendance fee.
5.1 The Customer must ensure that the Waste to be collected is clearly identified and separated from any items that are not to be removed.
5.2 The Customer must not include in the Waste any items that are hazardous or prohibited by law or by these Terms and Conditions, unless expressly agreed in writing and handled in accordance with applicable regulations.
5.3 The Customer warrants that they are the owner of the Waste or have the authority of the owner to arrange its removal and disposal.
5.4 The Customer agrees to provide accurate information about the nature and quantity of the Waste. The Company reserves the right to revise the price if the Waste materially differs from the description given at the time of Booking.
6.1 Prices for the Services are generally based on factors including the volume and weight of Waste, the time required for loading, the type of materials collected, and any additional labour or special handling required.
6.2 Any quotation provided prior to the collection is indicative and subject to confirmation on arrival, once the team has inspected the Waste. If the actual volume, weight, type of Waste or conditions on site differ from those described, the Company may provide a revised quotation.
6.3 If the Customer does not accept a revised quotation, the Company may cancel the Booking and the Customer may be liable for a call-out or attendance fee to cover the cost of time and travel.
6.4 All prices are stated in pounds sterling and may be subject to applicable taxes or charges, which will be communicated to the Customer where relevant.
7.1 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment for the Services is due on completion of the collection, prior to the departure of the collection team from the site.
7.2 The Company accepts commonly used payment methods, which may include cash, debit card, credit card or bank transfer, as communicated to the Customer at the time of Booking or collection.
7.3 For commercial Customers or regular service contracts, the Company may, at its discretion, agree alternative payment terms. In such cases, invoices are payable within the period stated on the invoice.
7.4 If any payment is not received by the due date, the Company reserves the right to charge interest on the overdue amount and any reasonable costs incurred in recovering the outstanding sum.
8.1 The Customer may cancel or amend a Booking by giving notice to the Company by telephone or email.
8.2 If the Customer cancels with at least 24 hours' notice prior to the agreed collection time, no cancellation fee will normally be charged.
8.3 If the Customer cancels with less than 24 hours' notice, or fails to provide access at the agreed collection time, the Company may charge a cancellation or failed attendance fee to cover the cost of time and travel.
8.4 Any amendments to the Booking, including changes to the collection address, date, time or the nature and quantity of Waste, are subject to the Company's availability and may result in a revised quotation.
8.5 The Company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a Booking in circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, vehicle breakdown, staff illness, road closures or safety concerns. In such cases, the Company will seek to notify the Customer as soon as reasonably practicable and arrange an alternative collection time.
9.1 The Company will use reasonable care and skill in the performance of the Services and will endeavour to collect the Waste at the agreed time or within a reasonable time window.
9.2 Any time or date for collection given by the Company is an estimate only. While the Company will use reasonable efforts to keep to agreed times, it does not accept liability for delays which are outside its reasonable control.
9.3 The collection team may, at their discretion, photograph the Waste before and after collection for record-keeping, compliance and service quality purposes.
10.1 The Company operates in accordance with applicable UK waste management and environmental regulations, including the obligation to dispose of Waste lawfully at licensed facilities.
10.2 The Company will act as a carrier of the Waste and will ensure that it is transported and disposed of responsibly. The Customer acknowledges that once the Waste has been collected, it may be reused, recycled, recovered or disposed of by the Company or its authorised partners in accordance with regulatory requirements.
10.3 The Customer agrees not to request or require the Company to dispose of Waste in any unlawful manner and confirms that they will not permit any items to be included in the Waste that would cause the Company to be in breach of applicable legislation.
10.4 Where required, the Company will maintain appropriate records, such as waste transfer records, to demonstrate lawful handling and disposal of Waste.
11.1 The Company will exercise reasonable care when providing the Services. However, the Customer is responsible for protecting any property, fixtures, fittings and surfaces that may be at risk during the collection process.
11.2 The Company's liability for loss or damage to property arising from its negligence shall be limited to the reasonable cost of repair or replacement, subject to any exclusions and limitations set out in these Terms and Conditions and to the extent permitted by law.
11.3 The Company will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from inaccurate information provided by the Customer, insufficient access or parking, or the presence of concealed hazards or defects at the premises.
11.4 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity or loss of data arising out of or in connection with the provision of the Services.
11.5 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes the Company's liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
12.1 If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the Services, you should contact the Company as soon as possible, providing full details of the issue.
12.2 The Company will investigate complaints in a timely and fair manner and will seek to resolve any issues through discussion with the Customer.
12.3 Any potential claim for damage or loss must be notified to the Company without undue delay and, in any event, within a reasonable period after the Service is provided, so that the circumstances can be properly investigated.
13.1 The Company may collect and process personal data about Customers in connection with the provision of the Services, including contact details, service addresses and payment information.
13.2 Such data will be used for the purposes of managing Bookings, providing the Services, handling payments, and dealing with enquiries and complaints. The Company will take reasonable steps to keep such data secure and to handle it in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
14.1 The Company shall not be liable for any delay in performing or failure to perform its obligations under these Terms and Conditions to the extent that such delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, natural disasters, strikes, road closures, accidents, acts of government or failure of utilities.
14.2 In such circumstances, the Company shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of time for performance or to cancel the affected Booking without liability, provided that it takes reasonable steps to notify the Customer.
15.1 The Company reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any such changes will take effect when posted or otherwise communicated and will not affect Bookings already accepted unless required by law.
15.2 The Customer is advised to review the current Terms and Conditions prior to making a new Booking.
16.1 If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable by a court or competent authority, that provision shall be deemed deleted, but the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
17.1 These Terms and Conditions, together with any written confirmation of the Booking provided by the Company, constitute the entire agreement between the Customer and the Company in relation to the Services and supersede any previous understandings or agreements.
17.2 The Customer acknowledges that they have not relied on any statement, promise or representation not expressly set out in these Terms and Conditions.
18.1 These Terms and Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
18.2 The parties agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions or the provision of the Services.
